- What does it mean that “God has placed Eternity in our hearts (Ecc. 3:11)?

- What are some ways that we let the world influence what we trust and depend on? How can we fight to change that?

- Do you tend to care more about the final destination instead of the journey it takes to get there? Why?

- Why do you think God cares more about the journey than the destination?

Luke 12:22-31

²²Then Jesus said to his disciples: "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. ²³Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. ²⁴Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! ²⁵Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? ²⁶Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest? ²⁷"Consider how the lilies grow. Proverbs 3:5-6
⁵ Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; ⁶ in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Isaiah 26:4
⁴ Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD, is the Rock eternal.

Deuteronomy 1:28-32
²⁸ Where can we go? Our brothers have made us lose heart. They say, 'The people are stronger and taller than we are; the cities are large, with walls up to the sky. We even saw the Anakites there.' " ²⁹ Then I said to you, "Do not be terrified; do not be afraid of them. ³⁰ The LORD your God, who is going before you, will fight for you, as he did for you in Egypt, before your very eyes, ³¹ and in the desert. Psalm 112:7-8
⁷ He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD. ⁸ His heart is secure, he will have no fear; in the end he will look in triumph on his foes.

WHY DO YOU THINK THAT IT IS SO HARD TO TRUST IN GOD, WHO HAS NEVER AND WILL NEVER FORSAKE US?
